The Front Squat may be the best exercise for legs, but also to Lose Belly Fat!
You probably already know that the squat is probably one of the most effective overall exercises (along with deadlifts) to stimulate muscle gain and fat loss. Doing exercises like squats and deadlifts work more muscle groups and put them under a heavy load than almost any other weight bearing exercise. When doing squats and deadlifts you use many more muscle groups that cover your entire body to move the weight and to stabilize your body.
Can You Lose Belly Fat by Doing Squats?
So, these exercises produce the greatest fat burning response to burn off that belly fat.
University studies have shown that including squats in a workout routine will increase the development of the upper body. Whether your goal is to increase lean muscle mass, or to reduce body fat, the basic squat and deadlift can be the ultimate solution.
And, if you don’t believe that squats and deadlifts are THE basis for a lean and powerful body, then go ahead and keep doing those mindless cardio exercises for hours on end and see if you lose that stubborn belly fat.
The front squats (where the bar rests on the shoulders in front of the head) and overhead squats (where the bar is locked out in a snatch grip overhead throughout the squat) are actually believed to be more functional than the typical squat (where the bar rests on your shoulders) with less risk of lower back injury by many strength coaches.
Doing all three exercises (not necessarily in the same workout session) can give the greatest result for overall muscle development along with losing body fat.
So, front squats added to your exercise routine can make it more likely that you will burn off the belly fat along with developing a stronger, fatter stomach.
Hope this was helpful.
